Our stay at 12 Burnside Lodge was simply wonderful. The lodge itself was beautiful and comfortable, with everything we needed for our three-day getaway. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The garden and outside space were well-maintained and provided a private and peaceful atmosphere. The lodge's location was also great, being less than a mile from Auchterader and offering plenty of options for dining out. Additionally, the area surrounding the lodge was simply stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop for our stay.

The lodge provided a comfortable stay, with a beautiful and tranquil setting. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, offering a high standard of service. The location was convenient, with shops and pubs just a mile away. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable beds and the luxurious shower, exceeding our expectations for a lodge accommodation.

The lack of a gate on the decking area made it challenging to let our dogs out safely. the shared wifi from the neighboring lodge had a weak connection, requiring us to go outside to access it.

Stayed at a superb lodge for a relaxing getaway. It was very clean and the beds were comfy. the peaceful location with only 13 lodges on site made it a perfect retreat. There's a pleasant 1-mile walk or a bus ride to the nearby town, offering convenience. the owner, George, was very helpful and responsive. All necessary facilities were available, making it feel like a second home. Close proximity to the village with supermarkets and restaurants. Would definitely return. Cons: Nothing for me 😊.

The lodge was absolutely beautiful. We loved the sliding doors that separated the living room from the kitchen, creating a cozy atmosphere. the bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the giant walk-in wardrobe. the outside area was well maintained and provided a nice space to relax. the hosts were welcoming and friendly, adding a personal touch to our stay.

To our experience. although the lodge claimed to be pet-friendly, we were disappointed to find that the decking area had no gate.
