The lodge provided a comfortable stay, with a beautiful and tranquil setting. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, offering a high standard of service. The location was convenient, with shops and pubs just a mile away. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable beds and the luxurious shower, exceeding our expectations for a lodge accommodation.
The lack of a gate on the decking area made it challenging to let our dogs out safely. the shared wifi from the neighboring lodge had a weak connection, requiring us to go outside to access it.

All necessary facilities were available, making it feel like a second home. Close proximity to the village with supermarkets and restaurants. Would definitely return. Cons: Nothing for me 😊.

To our experience. although the lodge claimed to be pet-friendly, we were disappointed to find that the decking area had no gate.
